30 Days of Gratitude – Day 10

Today is the tenth of my “30 Days of Gratitude” daily gratitude journal quick page give away. If you’ve just found this, it isn’t too late to grab the earlier daily downloads, but links will expire after 3 days.  Each day in November, I’ll be offering a print-size (8.5×11) quick page with a writing prompt, which at the end of the month will become a 30-page gratitude journal. Day 10 Writing Prompt: Something that made you cry

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 10

As a general rule, if I am full-on crying, you should probably watch out, because it typically means that I am either REALLY angry or REALLY frustrated. Neither situation is optimal for interpersonal skills. I don’t usually cry when I’m sad or in pain, choosing to put on a happy face and “fake it till I make it”. On the other hand, it doesn’t take much to make me teary-eyed. Today I am thankful for the sappy moments that make my eyes leaky: sun rays streaming through big billowy clouds, sappy rom-coms, a particularly poignant hymn (especially Christmas carols), young love and tiny humans are typical tear triggers.

I hope you’re playing along and will continue to gather gratitude with me throughout the month of November.

Happy Scrappin’ Ya’ll
